Kim Ficaro

I first became familiar with Kim Ficaro through her consistently gorgeous work in Domino Magazine. While it is so sad Domino no longer exists, its exciting to see that Kim has moved on to start her own studio. Her website is so inspiring, so much beautiful work.

Small World - Marias

Its so funny how the world works sometimes. A few weeks back I saw and admired Marias shoes
on Camp Comfort. Turns out Ashley already has a few beloved pairs of her own. Imagine my delight when
I found out Haley Boyd, one of the badass co-founders is a good friend of a good friend.
Its a small world after all..

How awesome are these oxfords? And so affordable!

I'm usually a snob about only buying REAL leather, but I think I'd be very happy to spend
 about $100 for these beauties

Of course they have the cutest blog ever, and the most well done website. Seriously, how adorable is this:

Billi Kid

I first became aware of Billi Kid when my sister visited 2 years ago. We were moseying around Williamsburg and she was shooting all kinds of great photos with her new camera. She took this shot which I LOVE:

Later I saw Billi Kid's work in New York Magazine in conjunction with a feature on Michelle Obama. Several artists were invited to contribute to the issue and Billi Kid did this cool piece :

Almedahls

I'm a huge fan of Scandinavian textiles and there's a whole world of them beyond what Ikea has to offer. Here are some amazing patterns from Almedahls. For more Scandinavian delights and some of the products below check out Just Scandinavian.

Newest Typographer crush!!

Working in the design department of a magazine, I'd definitely heard Jessica Hische's name tossed around here and there. But only recently did I (thank-the-lord!) come across her blog, http://jessicahische.blogspot.com/

She seems like such a cool girl, and is so inspiring to me. I love the fact that she designs all her own typefaces.

Job Letman

The book launch/type event that we attended Tuesday night proved to not leave me empty handed. I purchased said launched book:
and was delighted to find inside my favorite (well one of them) typographers, Job Letman. I somehow stumbled upon his website several months ago and am so thankful I did.

His link is here: http://www.letman.com/#LETMAN

A few delights:

Don't yet know how to post videos, maybe Ashley can help.. but for now, you'll have to look for yourself on his site. If you have like 2 minutes its worth checking out :)
